of this year’s take-home pay went to interest — $804.16 that paid down nothing. Ledgerlenz keeps this number in front of you, and shows you what moves it.
Your money, in focus.
Ledgerlenz tracks the number most money apps skip: how much of your take-home pay goes to interest. Paychecks, bills, cards and loans line up on one calendar — so you can see that number, and shrink it.

The idea
Most money apps tell you what you spent. Ledgerlenz tells you what your debt costs — how much of every paycheck quietly goes to interest — and how to keep more of it.
The interest lens
Know how much of your pay goes to interest.
Interest is the one line in your budget that buys nothing. Ledgerlenz finds it everywhere it hides — every card, loan, statement and purchase — and measures it against what you actually take home.
of net income will go to interest over the next 8 months — $1,032.00 at the payments you’re on now.
of interest saved on one card by paying $119 a month instead of the $35 minimum — and paid off 54 months sooner.
of interest from a single travel purchase — what it has cost and what it still will. Reports ranks your spending by what it costs you.
- 01Every paycheckHome shows what leaves each month for your cards and loans — and how much of it is interest that pays down nothing.
- 02Every purchaseEach item on a card carries its own share of the interest, so you can see what that one purchase is still costing you.
- 03Every statementEach cycle stacks the interest it charged on top of what you paid — past cycles and the ones still to come.
- 04Every yearThe interest ladder counts how many days of the year you worked just to pay it.

FAQ
Good questions.
The short answers to what people ask first.
How does Ledgerlenz count interest?
The way your lender does. Card interest is added when a statement closes, based on what you owed on average through the month — and a statement paid in full by its due date means the next one charges nothing. Loan interest is counted by the day, and each payment covers it first. Pick daily or monthly accrual to match your lender, and every statement is recalculated to match.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. Ledgerlenz never asks for a bank login. You add accounts and cards yourself, then bring purchases in by scanning a receipt, sharing a screenshot, importing a PDF or CSV statement, or typing them.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone, in an encrypted vault. The key is kept in Android’s secure storage, and nothing is sent to a server. Backups are a single encrypted .llx file that you control.
What happens if I forget my passcode?
Your passcode is the only key, so there’s no reset and no recovery — that’s what keeps the vault private. Keep it somewhere safe, and keep a recent backup.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything — including reading receipts and statements — happens on the device, so it works on a plane just as well as at home.
Can I get my data out?
Any time. Export any section as CSV or PDF over the date window you choose, or make a full encrypted backup. The same backup file opens in the Ledgerlenz browser extension.
Is there an iPhone version?
Ledgerlenz is built for Android first. The path to iOS is being kept open.
